Pair of Victorian Spode sauce tureens c 1847

Superb pair of Victorian footed and lidded sauce tureens on their original stands made by Josiah Spode, Stoke, Staffordshire. Dating from 1847.  A specatcular chinoiserie peony design with ornate gilded acorn and oak leaf handles and finials.

There are some small chips to the underside of the stands, underside of the lids and on one foot but they are not very noticable and do not detract.

Candles scented with organic orange and geranium, burn time approximately 100 hours each.
