Spode blue and white tea bowl and saucer c 1785. This pattern is known as the 'Broseley' pattern. This was the very first blue and white pattern that Spode used on his tea services from 1780. Here it is also highlighted with a trailing leaf gilt border

The tea bowl measures 8cm in diameter, the saucer 15cm
