New Hall porcelain , pink lustre Bute shape teacup and saucer, some fading to saucer c 1820.
Shelton, Hanley. New Hall was one of the first porcelain works in the UK and here during the period 1781-1812 examples of experimental hard paste porcelain ware were made: all of the New Hall examples in this collection belong to this period. It was only after 1812 that the works began to produce the classic English bone china. I will add the candles to these pieces as they sell, so that you may choose your favourite scent.
