New Hall slop bowl c 1800

New Hall porcelain works, Shelton, Hanley, Staffordshire. Beautiful unusual Georgian slop bowl with floral sprig design c1800. Slop bowls were used to hold the tea leaves after each round of tea.  Only one was made per tea service and very few were made after 1900, they are incresingly hard to find but make wonderful table centers.  Approximately 200 hour candle.
