These little terracotta pots are made on a potters wheel  in the foothills of the Atlas mountains in Ourika.  The vibrant colours of the glazes pop against the natural terracotta from the red soil of morocco.  Marrakech is known as the town of the four colours: the red of the soil, the white of the snow and the blue of the sky and the green of the valleys, all reflected in these fabulous glazes. The colours are rich and vibrant as in the group photos rather than the individual images where the colours have been slightly dulled in the light box. Each one is hand potted and varies in shape and glazing, they are handcrafted so please expect imperfections, thank you.
